I think Ge money bank is a fraud. I belong to Ge money bank have a few accounts, why i have complant. I called and talked to a person #74217 a surpervisor very rude! to ask him why they are charging a late fee,a payment fee when people signed up for a 12 or 18 or a 24 month,no payment no interest untill promotional expiration date. His answer was its a credit card. Then he asked me why are you worred you have no charges on your account you have a exellent a account so why are you worred about other people. because i seen over 20 people with same complant. Someone is very wrong! because i have accounts that have no payments. because of this i will never deal with Ge money bank again!
I to will never deal with Ge Money would never refer anyone to them i had 18 months same as cash and then when my 18 months was up i only owed 800 which i was glad of till i got my bill after my promotion and they added 477 dollars to my bill which brought me right back where i was which means i paid all that money for nothing the last 18 months, they are a sorry company.
yeah this company really really sucks!!!!!!they take advantage of you and take all your money. they charge you like 23.dollars a month son your bill for interest and the only way you don't have to pay interest is if you have your bill paid in 12 months. who can pay thousands of dollars in 1 year?not me yea no interest--is definately a lie. if you don't have to don't do it!!!!!!this company is very sorry!!!

I had worst customer service from your employees. I also tried to reselve my issue with one of your management (his name was Steve). Steve said there is absuletely nothing he can do. His exact words. Please take time to train your management costomer skill service. and better attutide skill at work place. We all can have bad days but if you are management you need to lerne to subside that attitude for workers he has to deal with him and customer like Me.
Very interesting! I was just trying to talk with somebody from Customer Service but the office is still closed. I have my very first loan from GE Money and guess what? I was charged a late fee after I mailed my first payment on Sept.4 when I got the bill. All our bills are usually due on the
1st or the 15th of the month so I was surprised when my Oct. statement arrived showing I was being charged with a $39.99 late payment; the due date was supposed to be Sept.9. I wrote a letter on Oct.6 and mailed it to their office in El Paso, TX but I have not heard from them. Today is Nov. 4 and I have not receive the statement for Nov. That means I will be charged another late payment fee for this month! I have asked the El Paso people to please move the due date from the
9th to the 15th to avoid paying late charges every month but it's been a month and they have not told me anything. There goes the "interest free 18 months"! I wonder if that's the way to offer something that looks like a good deal but in reality they are just fooling unsuspecting honest people. I was going to pay online but then I saw your blog and so I'm adding mine. This will be my first and last loan from this company. I just hope I'll get through this.

I have received the worst customer service from GE Money bank employees. The reps are not helpful and when I was finally about to get transferred to a "supervisor", after 3 attempts, besides hanging up on me, she displayed some of the worst supervisor skills that I have ever seen. It's no wonder that the customer representatives are rude and not helpful with that type of leadership as an example.
I don't understand my statement, I was not told about 39.99 late fee or a 15.00 late fee. And of course my payment I made last week is not shown. I was called about payment last week, I told the guy that if I got a statement you could get paid. Well he was supposed to take off the late fee, due to no statement sent. Now that I see how many complaints you have, and what people have said to me about Rooms To Go. I think I have made a bad decision for purchase. Therefore if I could get correct balance I would like to pay off. I have no time for b---s--- charges.

A few years ago I was being harrassed by Ge money bank and still is they add thing to my bill and the worst thing is I don't have a credit card and I keep fighting now they want over $7000.00 for what?
Is there a phone number for customer service, other than an 800 number? I am out of the country and need to talk to someone in CS. All I find online is an 800 number, which doesn't work out of the US. How about an email address? Can't find that either?
Was able to get a $500 Care Credit card, to pay for Vetinary care for my cat, which I appreciated. Wasn't able to pay off in promotional period. Chgd finance chg now, from transaction date to present. Paid $71 so far, but now owe $662.93! Chgd $39.99 late fee, when I was late, which I can understand, but why a $39 over limit fee, when I did not chg anything on the card? Am I paying over the limit fees on the finance chgs & the late fees? $78.99, for being late? That's just wrong!

The way the statement is worded per above, is confusing. Be glad you can't contact customer service, because you will get nowhere. Seems their customer service is in India and although they can speak English, it is with an Indian accent, which is difficult to understand. They also seem to be reading out of a script and really do not know what you are talking about. I have talked to Capital One customer service and most of the time you get someone you can understand and they understand you and will knock off fees, if you reason with them. GE Money bank sucks big time and I would never recommend them to anyone. Seems they make their money on the fees, which they lure you into. Give you a minimum payment due, but then it does not take you below your limit and they can then chg you an over limit fee.
I have called 4 times and get a person that does not know what they are talking about. I had paid my mayment to early and got a charge of being late of $39.99, I called and they said that was the problem and would take off the added charge, and that was speaking to a Manager. Next month they did take off the $39.99 but added another one. And they raised the rate to 29% not at the promotional rate, I again called and was talking for 1 1/2 hours trying to get my statement corrected. Peter said NOT TO PAY THE BILL SO IT CAN BE CORRECTED AND JUST PAY IT IN MAY. Well I'm stuped.. i belived him to be honest and helpful person.. HA!!
I again got hit with a $39.99 charge for not paying my payment. And i owe them the double payment! I will never use my card and transfer this amount to another card as soon as possiable. I do not recomend this Company for anything. Your customer service is not helpful, polite, or reliable. A very angry excustomer.!
This is a sad day in my life. I no longer will not invest in any credit cards ever again. Thank you Money Bank! No tonly do you not have an address, your employees can't do there jobs! No help whatso ever! They are rude and incinsitive to the customer's needs. I received 2 threating letters from them and no one knows why or will assist in stopping the harrassing phone calls!
I ahve lost faith in the credit institutions that have to inlist help from India or anywhere outside of the United States of America!.
I had an account in 2009 which I paid off. In February I went to the dentist and charged the $1410 to my Care Credit. I went online and made my first payment of $43 which was to be taken out automatically. On March 18 I was shocked when I checked my bank account to find I had no money in there and loans and penalties of $900 because GEmoney had taken all $1410 and cleaned out my bank account which left no money for my other bills. I contacted them and was told they would look into it and if they were at fault they would rectify the matter. Well, of course, it wasn't their fault it was all my fault because in 2009 I had opted to pay the balance if full. They had charged me a late charge on top of that! They did refund $1367 and took off the late charge but I am still out $900. I have contacted the Attorney General in Florida and they have sent my complaint to another company and they are investigating.
Have a PayPal pay later account that I recently made a purchase @ $50.00 with. I had opted for paperless billing. Never received a bill by USPS or an email notification that the first $10.00 payment was due. Message left on answer machine, after pymt due date. Was chgd $29.99 late fee. Due to not receiving any statement, requested the fee be reversed, would not. Now received letter their emails are not being received, spamed blocked!! Soon as I pay off, will close account with GEMoney Bank.
